Margaret Hamilton (12/9/1902 - 5/16/1985) Margaret made a special guest appearance at the Judy Garland Festival *in 1979 -- celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz.* *"This is an occasion that will be dear in my heart forever. I will never forget my weekend in your town."* Noted as Oz's Wicked Witch of the West, Margaret Hamilton made more than 60 movies in her career and did many television appearances.
