    Pauline Zimmerman, RN and a professional counselor with Northland Recovery Center in Grand Rapids, will take us through this timely topic and answer questions from the audience. The need for understanding is paramount in this age of proliferation and mass marketing of prescription drugs.

    What’s Over the Rainbow?
    Engaging and creative speaker Nancy Raymond uses the metaphor of the Wizard of Oz as a vehicle to understand the journey of life. Many of the situations and challenges in Oz are similar to our lives. We experience troubles, but carry blessings to help us on our journey.

    Rainbow’s End: The Judy Garland Show
    Join Rainbow’s End author Steve Sanders for an inside look at one of the most enduring, acclaimed - and controversial - programs in television history. This fascinating exploration of "The Judy Garland Show" will examine how this much-lauded but short-lived 1963-64 series is now renowned as the greatest preserved legacy of Judy Garland’s adult career, attracting new audiences and accolades with each passing year. The presentation features video clips and a Q & A forum.

    Judy: The Television Years
    Don’t miss this celebration of the TV specials and guest appearances that made “The Girl From Grand Rapids” one of the most prized attractions on the small screen. Moderated by Steve Sanders, author of Rainbow’s End and noted Garland historian, his special presentation will include a video recap featuring highlights of her two-decade television career, followed by a Q & A discussion.

    Faith Wick: Doll Maker Extraordinaire
    Fairyland is a new exhibit of 300 classic fairy tale character dolls at the Children’s Discovery Museum. Faith will talk about her career as a doll-maker and answer questions from the audience. The artist will share her life long fascination with witches. Faith’s first famous doll was the "Wick"et Witch!

    Special Children's Activities:
    Family activities at the Children's Discovery Museum - There’s always something fun to play and learn at the new Children’s Discovery Museum, right at the epicenter of Festival activities. Open daily from 9 to 5 during the Festival, your children will be amazed when they hear from "Treesa" the talking tree! There’s also dino dig, geo-zoooom and the river water table--all geared for 0-10 year olds!

    Collector's Exchange
    Tenth annual exchange with vendors from throughout the United States. Show is limited specifically to Judy Garland and Wizard of Oz memorabilia. Vendors may dress in Oz costumes. Vendor Space: $100 per table. Held at the Judy Garland Museum.
