Steve Allen and Jayne Meadows The 1990's were a busy decade for stage, screen and television star Jayne Meadows. Her stage performance in Neil Simon's LOST IN YONKERS was called a "triumph," "superb," "the performance of a lifetime," by the critics and she won the 1993 Drama-Logue Award for Best Performance by a Stage Actress in a drama. With her husband, Steve Allen, she performed A.R. Gurney's two character play, LOVE LETTERS, to rave reviews across the country. Under the direction of Rob Reiner, she was featured as Michelle Pfeiffer's mother in Castle Rock's THE STORY OF US (1999) starring Bruce Willis.
